Visiting PacBellSBC ATT Ball Park - Home of the San Francisco Giants
This state of the art ballpark opened in March 2000. Its classic looks belie its modern design and features like views of the field while at the concessions. Now called ATT Park, it is located in China Basin, just south of the Bay Bridge on the corner of 3rd and King streets.
For the first three years of its life this park was known as PacBell Park. PacBell, the local phone company, changed their name to SBC and arranged for the park's name change in 2003. SBC was acquired by ATT and so another name change ensued.
